3KDs Teamspeak - How to join it?

Important Information:


Our Teamspeak channels provide you the possebility to voice-chat instantly with each other. These channels are in no way affiliated with 3KDs, but they are provided to us with the consent of the server owners. As for that, these servers, are the server owners personal property, ran and operated by themselves at their own free will. The only relation to 3KDs is, that they are allowing players and DMs alike to use it. Anything said or done on this server is strictly OOC. We and the server owners, will not tolerate any form of sexual or racial discrimination/harassment and won't hesitate to ban you. Be respectful and polite of others and be prepared to step across many different language barriers.


Connecting Instructions:

  1. Go to the website and look on the left hand side under Teamspeak 2. Click 'downloads'
  2. You'll have 4 options to download. Only download the one that you need. If you run on windows then download the top left one (client version). Linux of course would download the top right version. Make sure you download the client and not the server.
  3. Download and install the client version, then run it. It should come up as three split screens, all blank. Click on the 'Connection' button and choose the first option down -> 'Connect'

 SALP.NL-Server is Offline, feel free to use the 2nd one:

Label: "3KDs Teamspeak"
Server Adress: "62.75.222.133:9000"

Default Channel: "The Three Kingdoms"
Channel Password: "apple"

Notes:

You should be atomatically guided to the right channel at the BOTTOM of the TS window. You have to state the password again as soon as you change the channel.

Now to make sure people can hear you speak over the mic:

  1. Click the 'Settings' tab and go to 'Sound Input/Output Settings'
  2. Output volume set to normal, I use 'Push to Talk' and I suggest you do the same for various reasons I won't get into. After you select the 'Push to Talk' you have to set your talk button to any random button on your keyboard or mouse. Click on the 'Set' button and then click whatever button you want to use to talk with. The button you press should appear next to the 'Push to Talk' option.

After you do that you're ready to chat! - Have fun!
